I'm Elliot and i'm the proud owner of E&K Soaps! We specialize in handcrafted soap and lotion made in our home work space in Faribault, Mn.

Our soap is made using the cold process method. It starts by mixing high quality oils and mango butter, with lye, causing a chemical reaction known as saponification. Colorants and fragrance are added and poured into a mold. We cut the soap into 1 inch bars, and they are set to cure for 4 to 6 weeks. This method of soap making goes way back to ancient Babylon dating back to as early as 2800 BC!

Our lotion starts by disinfecting all equipment. Then high quality oils and emulsifying wax are mixed with distilled water. Fragrance and preservative are then added, and then bottled by hand. Our lotion provides lasting moisture leaving skin soft and rejuvenated. Mango butter, combined with vitamin rich oils repair dry damaged skin.

We started E&K Soaps after finding out that there are very few true soaps on the market today. Most body cleansers are actually synthetic detergent products, containing harmful ingredients. We wanted to make real soap with a creamy feel and a deep moisturizing quality.
